When purchasing this equipment, you can rest assured that the machine has been extensively tested to ensure proper working order. All equipment has received a thorough inspection by a McElroy Certified Master Mechanic.
One of our most powerful pre-owned machines is the MegaMc® 1648 machine which can butt fuse pipe sizes from 16” OD to 48” OD (450mm to 1200mm). Most butt fusions can be performed on the machine without having to use special holders or removing the outer jaw. Mitered inserts are available for fabricating ells. McElroy’s unique semi–automatic control system only needs a single person to operate. Hydraulic power assists all fusion functions including the full operation of the jaws, pipe lifts, heater and facer.
When you need to jot down important job site data and keep track of joint fusions, the DataLogger 5 we have available is fully functional. In fact, we’ll make sure it is fully calibrated before we ship it to you.
