The Rolling 618 Fusion Machine Package remains one of the most powerful McElroy machines. Something of a halfway point between large and small diameter fusion, the machine features a universal, easily removable four jaw carriage that allows for remote fusion operations, similar to other McElroy machines. The outer jaw and skid can also be detached from the carriage to make the machine easier to use in situations where there is not a lot of space.
Boasting an improved cowling design for efficient heat dissipation, the TracStar® 618 Series 2 Fusion Machine Package also boasts an upgraded electrical system that allows for improved circuit protection. Lockout has also been made easier thanks to a standard battery disconnect. The package we have features the facer, heater, the machine, an insulated heater stand, lifting assembly, and 12” IPS butt fusion inserts.
